Soda! also called pop, soft drink, soda pop, fizzy drink, and carbonated beverage. a non alcoholic beverage that usually contains carbonated water, a sweetening agent, and a flavoring agent. the sweetening agent could be sugar or high fructose corn syrup or a sugar substitute. usually sugar substitute is used in diet drinks.   a soft drink  can also contain caffeine or fruit juice. energy drinks are not considered soda! such as monster, amp, red bull, and rock star. Gatorade milkshakes, kool aid, tea, and schlore. soft drinks are usually served at room temperture or chilled they are rarely served heated.
