He just got back from retirement after the 94' and 95' season. He missed the game of basketball and wanted to comeback playing better than ever and that's exactly what he did. Michael was hoping he still had the talent to compete at championship level and be under pressure has well like hold times. He came back to the game with a better jump shot so he was a huge threat now. And Jordan was trying to make history for himself, coming back from retirement and winning a championship. He was facing a great player during this game. The player name was Shawn Kemp. Kemp could drive the basketball and dunk over people like crazy so Jordan knew he had to shot him down.
